Booster Cables (1 Set)
Installation Information
1. Connect the positive (red) clamp of the booster cable to the positive (+) terminal of the discharged battery.
2. Connect the other positive (red) clamp of the booster cable to the positive (+) terminal of the charging battery.
3. Connect the negative (black) clamp of the booster cable to the negative (-) terminal of the charging battery.
4. Connect the other negative (black) clamp of the booster cable to an unpainted metal surface on the engine block or chassis of the vehicle with the discharged battery, away from the battery.
5. Start the engine of the vehicle with the charging battery and let it run for a few minutes.
6. Attempt to start the engine of the vehicle with the discharged battery.
7. Once the discharged vehicle starts, disconnect the negative (black) clamp from the chassis of the started vehicle.
8. Disconnect the negative (black) clamp from the donor vehicle’s battery.
9. Disconnect the positive (red) clamp from the donor vehicle’s battery.
10. Disconnect the positive (red) clamp from the started vehicle’s battery.
