Installation Information

Connect the positive (red) clamp to the positive terminal of the discharged battery. Connect the other positive (red) clamp to the positive terminal of the donor battery. Connect the negative (black) clamp to the negative terminal of the donor battery. Connect the other negative (black) clamp to an unpainted metal surface on the engine block or chassis of the vehicle with the discharged battery, away from the battery. Start the donor vehicle and let it run for a few minutes. Attempt to start the vehicle with the discharged battery. Once started, disconnect the negative (black) cable from the charged vehicle first, then the negative (black) cable from the donor vehicle. Disconnect the positive (red) cable from the donor vehicle, then the positive (red) cable from the charged vehicle.
